Diamonds and pearls

My Sunday-evening past-time this weekend was mixing and matching old vintage pearls from my Grandmother, with new fresh-water-pearls, all in different sizes and colors. And in between an occasional glass-bead. Here it is combined with another necklace from NoaNoa.

The main feature is the big broach with wanna-be-diamonds. The pin is still on it and in perfect order, so I plan to take advantage of that when wearing it. Slightly on the side. Kinda of cool, right? :-)

The other main feature is the chinese symbol in mother-of-pearl that I got in Taiwan sometime last century. I had to drill holes in it, and was slightly nervous about it. But I got my Dremel 300 for Christmas, so nothing is impossible anymore!

(eh… well, I might have to modify that…)

I am now officially ready for romantic summer-nights!

  2. Thank you so much!
I don´t know why I don´t have one. Maybe they don´t have them in wordpress, or maybe my web-guy just didn´t install it. Usually I put an RSS-feed on the blogs I like best, that way I get a hint whenever there is a new post, and can follow it that way. But I´ll ask for help on this. Thanks for reminding me!
