Christmas goody give-away

In the past 4 1/2 years, over 80 000 visitors have graced my blog with their presence. That is so humbling, and so much fun! I am so proud! And I want to celebrate it with you, by throwing a Christmas-special goody give-away.

I made “Golden Girl Ginger”, 15×15 cm, in my usual freestyle machine embroidery technique. Made from Indian and Chinese silks appliqued on a velour mounted onto a thick cardboard-canvas. A little bit of flapper, a little bit of hippie, a lot of girly-girl! And she could be your, simply by leaving a comment on this post by answering the following question:

What is the best Christmas gift you´ve ever received or given?

Feel free to pull the image above if you want to promote my giveaway, either on Facebook or on your own blog. Let me know and it´ll give you an extra ticket in the lottery 😉

The give-away is open until December 31st.

  1. Wauw over 80.000 visitors, congratulations Janne, that is amazing!Golden Girl Ginger looks amazing too:-)For me christmas is about the solstice, the original meaning which is about the survival of another year and the coming of a new growth. I celebrate with lights, family, nice food and this year with sun and sea which suits me better then any present in the world <3

  2. My christmasgift came late, on the 28.december: a baby girl in 2007!

  3. One year I gave myself premission to not celibrate christmas at all. I made plans to be alone and do whatever I wanted. Christmaslike or not. That year I discovered the joy of christmas.

  4. Hi there across the ocean. LOve and admire how you are so multi talented , it’s incredably annoying Are you well? Have you snow in abundance? We have sand and beach coming out of our ears, we need to put Zinc on our noses to keep the Uvees off, did you know that? It comes in several different flavours but we have troble reaching the tips of our noses with our tongues to see what flavour we are wearing . So there is a moral there ! Alwats taste the Zinc before you put it on your nose Have a very happy Christmas Janne, I hope life is being good to you ! (Ps I remember when you had fiftythousand visitors )

This year I`ve got “a self made coupon” from my daughter for Christmas. I can exchange the coupon into 10 small favours of my own choice – so thaughtful:-)

    Merry Christmas, Janne!

  7. The best Christmas gift I ever gave someone? Not sure, really – but Grandma (89) was very happy about the 1,4 kilos “geitost” she got this year :o) I think that is the 4. goat cheese she got from me since August :o)
The nicest things to give away are things the receivers can either eat, drink, share or put on their Chrismas tree

    Love your blog! :o)
