half-tech at Seim

My expanded team of seamstresses, Siri, Anne Britt, Kathrine and Annhja racing to get everything ready for the technical rehearsal.

Up by the stage, I find two warriors fighting off a private battle behind the barn. These guys don´t PLAY fighting. They´re in a group of viking re-enactors who  practice sward-fighting, make their own costumes and travel from one viking camp to another during summer.

This is by far the best costume here. I´d LOVE to have a chain-mail like that. It´s privately owned, but he hadn´t made it himself, said he didn´t have the patience. But that would 300 hours well spent, if you ask me.

The lights going up. That´s the moon in the back there. (This totally reminded me of Fiddler on the roof, modern version. )

My working-class hero, the lighting designer, who continued to work all through the night after everyone else left.
