The winner of December´s 80 000 visitors goody give-away is
Siv!
You gave me some very good ideas on what your favorite Christmas gift (received or given) was. I used Random to choose between the answers, and it picked Siv. I´ll share part of her answer:
One year I gave myself premission to not celibrate christmas at all. I made plans to be alone and do whatever I wanted. Christmaslike or not. That year I discovered the joy of christmas.

2013. A new year filled with new possibilities. One of them is to get back into the habit of throwing monthly goody give-aways. And what more natural than starting the first month of the year with a calendar? I am aware that it won´t reach the new owner until February, but still. (I am also aware that everyone local already has it. So if there is a local winner I will make something else for you.) Even though this is a calendar made for the local power company, and there are a few pages of electrical safety information, there is still 14 pieces of artwork by yours truly in it. I´ve spent a lot of time making them, and am proud of the finished product, so hopefully one of you will be happy to receive it 😉

And finally, below is a link to my CELEBRATE-calendar:
Godt Nyttår, Janne! I dag har jeg “løpt” 30 minutter i bakkene her hjemme i friskt regn og 3 grader pluss. Så har jeg sydd svartsaum til Sognebunad (som skal være fysisk på Husfliden 1.april! Her er det bare å henge i for nå er kalenderen “Våren ’13”!);)
The dark days can be hard, even here where they are not as dark as some places. My work helps me remember to celebrate life, because I deal mostly in end-of-life issues. I’ll take my annual fly-tying class — I really need to fish more, because I have already tied dozens of lovely flies, lol! I will try to get to the target range more; it’s a good pastime on days when I don’t want to be outdoors, and the concentration takes my mind away from moodiness. And of course, making hot winter soups and baked goods! How about you?
I’m so proud to have won the pretty girl, and I will gladly share this months goody-give-away (it has such a nice ring to it).
I live in a place with no sun untill March, so I keep looking up at the mountains to se how the sun will slowly return to the valley.
In the meantime, I make sure I stop, breathe, hug and really feel the meaning of life at least once a day. And the meaning of life, for me, is my two little girls. And ofcorse light ALOT of candles every afternoon. 🙂
Have a super evening!
WOW! what an honour and a huge effort on your part! I love the cover, your art is so beautiful and inspiring always! I hope I win, I would love to look at peices of your home all year! To celebrate the small and the everyday I have a gratitude clipboard. Each month has a beautiful picture of something ordinary, and then lines for each day of the month. everyday I write what I am grateful for. This weeks entries are “pine grosbeaks, red in the snow”, glitter of frost on my window in the sun”, “white roses blushed with pink”, “my little boy saying I love you.” It helps to lift me up, and to remember each day is full of God’s grace and blessings. I just have to notice them. :o) Youre on there too Janne! Thanks for your encouragment and kind heart! Love your word for the year by the way. Mine this year is “momentum” xoxo T.
