I´ve laid gold-leaf on God´s eye. I thought about what I had read, that no one could see God, because the light surrounding him would be so strong you would go blind. So I thought I´d use the gold to reflect light on, to make it all brighter.
Today I´ve filled in a couple more spots of background color, spending most of my time on this tunic.
I´m getting closer to a decision on the part I wasn´t satisfied with, so next full day of painting, I might get something done to tie the two worlds together.
Skip a few days and here we are again. This angel is getting a lot closer to finished, with it´s wing filled with feathers, his clothing highlighted. He looks so much more defined after Lars has straightened him up. I´m so lucky to have his expert help!
I know the middle looks a bit weird now, but I´ve got a plan, and this is part of it 😉
I´ve more or less finished the glowing purgatory surrounding God´s eye, next time I´ll re-do the beams of glory, to tie it all together. Crossing my fingers it´ll look good.
