Next step in the Seashore-picture: Painting fish. Literarily painting the fish. The fish-skin. Or to be very specific, the salmon-skin. After all this is for a salmon factory, so it is kind of important that it´s the right fish.
The fish arrived, already dyed blue, though it looked more grey to me.
So I found the fabric-paint, and started working with it.
Looking better. Now I just need another twenty or so…..

Can’t wait to see what you do. I’ve seen a number of paintings using the gyotaku technique and, although a bit weird, I love the way they look! This sounds like one step beyond, using the actual fish on the finished piece.
