I had a fun job yesterday! I was invited to a bachelorette party, to involve all the girls in painting for a couple of hours. 1 bride, 10 friends, acrylics & canvases and a little chocolate… that can´t be wrong 😉
We only used blue hues, as blue is Monica´s (the bride) favorite color, and we wanted them all to match when we put them together as one big painting. As the whole get-together is a wedding-soon-to-be, and the number one symbol of love is hearts, every one made a heart, some as the main object, some very subtle. In addition every one thought of one thing they wished for the bride, a word they could incorporate into the painting.
A big task. But they all jumped into the challenge fearlessly, and soon wonderful paintings were emerging.
Here they all are with they´re newly made art. The bride is #2 front row from the left, and her painting says “Oh yes!” 🙂 (In Norway you say “yes” instead of “I do” when asked the vital question in church.)
And here all the paintings are gathered. Turned out pretty cool, didn´t it!? They were a great gang to paint with, I had such a great time.
All the best of luck on the big day, Monica and Øyvind!
Tusen takk Janne.
Eg hadde da heilt fantastisk, da besta eg kunne fått til aktivitet den dagen 😉 å ikkje minst eit flott minne!
What a cool idea! And it was so smart to have them all paint in the same blue palette.
