Yay! I´m making a mountain! Using the BIG saw on the styrofoam, making a giant 3D puzzle.

It´s actually quite a good exercise in the understanding of space, piecing it all together. Glueing it all down with the stickiest glue ever.

We have two halves of the mountain. Marita made the other half. Here I´ve been working on her half. Scratching down the surface with a steel brush. It´s on days like this, not even I freeze.

Even though Christmas carols are on loop in my mind. I wonder why…

The glueing and sawing and brushing is over on Marita´s half. Now for the “caskeration”. (Completely new word for me in Norwegian, have no idea what the English word is…)

Making a mix of different glues and water, using lots of old, cut-up mesh screens, glueing them down…

And finally, at the end of Friday afternoon, it´s all done! Double-YAY! On Monday, when it´s dry, painting is on the agenda. Or rather, I think the other half of the mountain is up for it´s round with the chain-saw. Phew! This making mountains really takes it´s time!
Wow, it really looks great!
Theater MAGIC! It’s wonderful, Janne!
