It´s almost a tradition now. Giving my brother-in-law something home-sewn for the kitchen. He and my sister are about to get a new kitchen, so I thought it might be a good chance to make him new curtains.
They´re in linen with silk hearts appliquéd on, and with a freestyle machine-embroidered text on it. The text is about what has happened the past year in their lives.
And this year, their little boy learned how to walk and he´s started talking. His very first word was “Auntie”. Which of course is well-documented on the curtain 😉
