I´m back home, and it´s time to finish some of the things I´ve been working on while in the boathouse. I managed to put together 20 mini-books, and tonight I´ve started assembling them. I´m using big, enameled beads I made last fall at Art&Soul.
As I started putting them together I couldn´t help myself, I just had to add a couple more beads. Here is a turquoise from Mexico, and a glass-leaf from Canada in addition to my enameled bead.
I really like the color on the fish-skin on this mini-book. It´s a muted, pale turquoise, smooth and shiny. The indian handmade cotton paper inside is slightly pale turquoise too.
I suspect it will be busy days before the market.
