Jan Terje Rafdal is an artist from Etne, and he has a really great exhibition this summer in Galleri Giga. He´s moved part of his workspace/studio into the gallery, and is working there, while people visit both his exhibition and the rest of the gallery.
His current themes are “Earth-finds” (inspired by his finds with a metal-detector) and “Filatelia” based on a series of old stamps.
The exhibition is a bit different from the usual: it started with him working, and at the end of the period, the gallery-walls will be covered with his art.
He´s mainly into graphic printing, but also does barock cat-portraits in oil.
