Sunday was the grand opening of the Family-life in the Lighthouses at Ryvarden Lighthouse. Such a beautiful, sunny day, and so many people came visiting. Ryvarden is a small lighthouse between Bømlo and Haugesund, in one of the most dangerous sea-distances along the coast. Not because it´s so long or because the weather or currants are so bad, but because there are so many underwater-islets here.

But on Sunday, all was calm
We were two artists opening today: Torhild Inger makes watercolors.

My Family-life exhibit was in the atelier, and I think they look really nice in this atmosphere with the painted, wooden walls.

I almost get an old-school-house-feeling in this house. Or maybe it´s just a vague childhood association.

Gotta love the decor!

Inside the main house Torhild Inger´s pictures are, and some of my more random lighthouse-pictures.

I really like how the pillows and the picture is color-coordinated! (Yes, they are my pillows. I have more of them in other colors too, all different. Silk-screen fabric-painted.)

And finally the prints from the exhibition are for sale, along with the themed tote-bags. Hopefully you´ll have the chance to drop by, the exhibition is open every Sunday until the end of June.
looks like a beautiful show in a beautiful space! congratulations!
