I´ve attended a couple of fabric painting and printing workshops, and all the swatches and trials have been floating around making a mess. I wanted to somehow make a system where I could have them all in one place, and still have the opportunity to remove one of them if I needed to.
So I simply used a hole-puncher to make holes in one end of the switches. Using a heavy board carton as a back, I added all the fabrics, one at a time. This way, all my fabric swatches are now orderly collected in a book.
The secret is the rings in the back that bind them together. You can easily open them to remove a page or to add more. So far I´ve used these to gather my christmas-cards, but they work excellently with fabric as well.
Easy to flip through, easy to store, easy to keep in order. What more can you ask?! 🙂
