I guess I should stop calling it the “weekly” update and start calling it the “occasional” update…
The past couple of weeks I´ve been busy working with the barricade in Les Mis. It´s a big construction, and every spot needs to be first watered, then stained and finally a varnish on top. My colleague Ingrid is helping out here. It´s gonna be really cool when it´s all done!
While working on it, lines from the musical are swirling in my mind: “You at the barricade listen to this!: No one is coming to help you, you´re on your own!” and the reply: “Damn their warnings, damn their lie! We shall see the people rise!”
Next big project is the sewer. It was more of a maze of bricklaying than I expected. Here I´m almost finished. The carpet-roll-endings you see here will become part of pipes in the sewer.
My other colleague Elin, is applying the first coat of paint.
We have to finish everything by Christmas, which is actually getting quite close!, so there´s no time for slacking.
Wow! Looks like a lot of work! Looking forward to see the result! (Huff, kjenner jeg er litt ute av trening på å skrive engelsk…)
