First, here is a photo of picture 2, after I´ve changed the color of the house from red to green. It calms the picture I think. And also the original was green. I didn´t know this from the black-and-white photo, but was told so later on. Probably a warmer tone than this one, but still.
I´m still postponing the second layer of paint, until I have the first layer on all three paintings done.
And here is the third picture. It is big. I mean, it feels really big. It´s 85 x 170 cm, so it is big. But it feels even bigger. Like a desert… Or maybe my brushes feel small, I´m not sure.
I wasn´t sure exactly where to begin, but decides to just start somewhere, I´ll probably have to go back and alter it & paint over anyway. But once there is one layer of paint, the second somehow seems easier.
After about five-six hours. Well, at least the sky is more or less in place. All that white stuff in the middle is going to be a ferry.

The audio-book with the young guys being murdered is nearly over. Oh, no. The bad guy turned out to be the hero´s childhood-friend.
Your painting reminds me of a wonderful vacation in Canada in winter thirty years ago.
It’s good that you are painting big. I have trouble going over 51cm by 41 cm. It’s all about comfort zone. Friend of mine, professional artist, tells me just get a bigger pallette and a bigger brush …. hmm. How are you sealing the wood?
