First I find the background fabric, this one is hand-painted, and lay down the biggest pieces of scrap fabric.
I sew them on, keeping on adding more and more details.
Machine embroidering details in the feathers.
The finished applique/machine-embroidery, love-bringing bird. That is, he will still get some more details. And I have a special purpose lined up for him. Curious? You´ll see tomorrow!
