Today was the opening of the 2009 Amateur-exhibition in Bømlo Culturehouse. I´ve been working with this since February, and it´s always nice to land a project. The exhibition is going to be open until August 15th, and there are 29 artists collaborating in this showcase. I have a corset in here, but you can´t see it in the pictures…

Karen, Rune and Anders, who play the roles of Kim, Chris and John in Miss Saigon sang at the opening, accompanied by Knut Aabø at the piano.
The title of the exhibition “The war isn´t over when it ends” is from the musical Miss Saigon. And THAT show, in Moster Amfi, will have it´s opening night August 5th. I´ve done the costume-design for the show, and am spending my days in a Miss Saigon-daze, sowing costumes. The costume-crew is small, but efficient. Which is good, as we have about 250 costumes to get ready, and basically only had a good month to do it in.
