Well, here we go again. Second part of the big picture. Acrylics on wood. I´m still nervous. Maybe because this time the people on the picture are the man who commisioned it, his mother and her friend. A family-portrait, so to say.
What trick have I found to solve this? I listen to audio-books. Right now I am in the North of Sweden at a crime-scene. The books are a great distraction, so I can overcome my nervousness, and just get on with it. Maybe a tip for others?
Well, here we go!
Not so exciting just yet, but oh, so helpful to get the lines in the right place!
The heroine is on her way to confront one of the killers, and at the same time keep him from committing suicide.
Most of the snow in place, this is going ok.
And now the other murderer is after the heroine, and she fleeing across a lake on rotten ice. This can´t be good…
This is how far I got today.
Well. Bad guy drowned, and heroine saved her friends dog, before she miraculously survived herself. Hm. Was this a good book? Not really sure…
Tomorrow more painting and a new book. 🙂
I totally listen to audio books while I work. Especially Jim Dale and the Harry Potters.
I love how this is turning out.
Wow what amazing work… I would love to be able to paint like that and what a clever distraction with the book. It’s fun reading about the story seeing your work progress.

It’s looking very good! I love that there is a VW bus in the photo…I have one that I am trying to restore. And thank you for your comments on my Clumsy piece! It was very strange yesterday…I was doing photo research on Vikings for a piece I am going to do, and then I received your comment, and you are in Norway. Very strange how the universe works! Your pieces are spectacular – keep up the good work.
