This week my contribution to Illustration Friday is sewn. I thought her expression really fits the quote.
I´ve spiced up an old, plain sweater by appliqueing fabrics in the front and on the arms. I´ve done this to several sweaters, but this is probably the calmest one of them.

Ok, this doesn´t have anything to do with IF (unless a helicopter is a cocoon) or creating, but I just have to share it anyway.
I´ve just driven the guy downstairs from one job to another. Since the time-gap was to short to drive to Bergen, they PICKED HIM UP IN A HELICOPTER!!!!!
Now, why doesn´t anyone ever have costume-designer-crises that involves picking ME up in a helicopter?! Just because he´s a phyro-technician who spent the entire day at the breakfast-table, turning it into a bomb-making-central, welding tin-connections…..
Life just isn´t fair, is it!!?

Usually when they use helicopters in Oz it;s cause people are being pulled out of the sea.
So maybe good to be at home sometimes?
