Way big wayfarer

Things are coming together, pictures are being finished, framed and packed for the journey. It´s been a hectic week, but an efficient week is always a good one!

Following the progress of the big painting.

The sky and the main sail, the spinnaker, is in place. (Is that the English name?)

Mr. Man is in place.

It still needs some details all over, but now it´s all in the smaller details. The touching up is the best part!

Now I´m off to the first choir rehearsal weekend for our (BML) We will rock you-concert.

Oh, and thanks to Bill Bryson for sharing all sorts of interesting historical facts of the home with me while I was painting!

  1. Hello Janne! “The touching up is the best part!”
Yes I am with you there. You can get a nice rhthym going if you are lucky – to lead the eye around the composition.

The waves/splashes on the bow are really excellent. I never fear a white canvas – just a finsihed one!

hope your potatoes are yummy. !
