Well, it´s high time I did another goody give-away, don´t you think?!? There are so many things to celebrate, and one thing I want to celebrate is the fact that so many of you are still following my blog, even though I haven´t been posting as regularly as usual this fall. Sometimes life is just a bit busy. You know? But now I am finally back home, I finally have all my ARTing-stuff around me, and I even have a little time to ART!
So I thought, maybe I´d help you get a head-start on that drama-queen witchy goth Halloween costume with these black earrings. The metal is painted matte black, and the beads are black glass. If you want them, just leave a little comment on this post, telling me if and how you´ll celebrate Halloween, and what your dream-costume would be!
Halloween is a fairly new tradition in Norway, but costume-designer as I am, I love any excuse to dress up! 🙂
If you want an extra ticket in the raffle, promote my giveaway on your blog, and voilá! you get 2 entries! Feel free to pull this image to use on your blog. And don’t forget to leave me a comment so I know you did.
I will draw the winner the 28th of October with Random.
I am always in awe of your talent. No wonder you like to dress up! I will “celebrate” Halloween by going trick-or-treating tonight with my grandchildren at our local children’s zoo (the call it a Zoo Boo and the kids get candy and carousel rides). I will also hand out candy at my own home on the actual night of Halloween, for the neighborhood kids. I might have to buy more candy though — it is rare to have it in my house and I am weak-willed, as evidenced by my eating one of the bags of chocolate already! 🙁 I have only dressed up a few times. As a child, the only choices in my family were “hobo” and “gypsy” – my parents did not have your creativity! A dream costume for me would be something very comfortable but covered with feathers and sparkles — an exotic bird, maybe?
I love your journal from art and soul. I made one of those for my artfest inspirations. So fun, I just keep adding pages year by year and now it is getting really thick.
The earrings are terrific, you are so multi-talented – I am in awe. I would love to win them.
I used to go all out for Hallowe’en when my children were young, I made many costumes through the years. But now that they have grown and moved out I don’t do much. I live on a busy street so I don’t even get any children coming door to door for treats. I enjoy the decorations in peoples yards as I drive around the city. My all time favourite costume was/is the ice queen, all white/gray and glittering with sequins. Lots of bling and sparkle.
Tammy wants to do a dress up night at artfest this year and has talked several people into hopefully participating, so I am thinking of a costume I can make for that! Should be fun.
Oooo, *love-love-love* the earrings!
I like costumes that are pop-culuture references – one year I was Audrey from the tv-series Twin Peaks. I’ve seen costume suggestions for people like Frida Kahlo and Abraham Lincoln, which looks like a lot of fun. And recognizable people from movies would be cool too – Uma Thurman in “Kill Bill” maybe?
