Fall is here. Halloween is just around the corner. Orange is the color of the day. I had a few extra hours today, and wanted to get a head start on some of my Christmas presents.
In my never-ending supplies I found these orange cotton-fabrics. Tearing wide strips, absolutely not being exact in measurement, overlocking them together (sewing with the serger).
Two layers, torn and sewn. Sewn onto a cheap fleece-blanket (I really don´t like fleece, but having it closed in, it might work)
I only had my serger/overlock, this is why it took so short time. Only about a good hour. That, and because I wanted it to be not perfect.
And finally, the finished result (so far). I still have the actually quilting to do, but I have to have something to look forward to, I can´t have all the fun in one day, can I? 😉
