I made lots of samples the past two weeks. Experimenting with colors, fabrics, patterns. Below is one of my samples, on pure silk satin. The colors vary a bit on what kind of material you use, and on this silk the colors turned bright and vibrant.
Since this particular piece of fabric had the exact amount of silk needed for a new pillow ( 😉 ) that´s exactly what I made when I got home! Much better to put the samples to use, than to store them in a folder.
I think I´ve recommended it before: If you have the chance to sleep in /on pure silk, do it! It´s a little piece of heavenly luxury every day!
