The April-show at the theatre will be “Noises Off!”, a fabulously funny farce. I haven´t seen it, but I hear good things of it, and look forward to seeing it, even if I´m not a particular farce-fan. Monday we started painted the bricks on the wall-pieces, Tuesday we finished with a wash to make them look like actual bricks and added some gooey stuff to pose as mortar. Wednesday the set was being pieced together and assembled. As you can see, a whole house is now filling our workshop.

Thursday and Friday I spent wall-papering the back of all the doors and walls with corrugated cardboard, to make it all look like a big paper-set.

This will be the last Backstage Weekly, as I am leaving the theatre to go back to running my own business again full-time. I´ve had a most wonderful time here, the theatre is filled with lovely and talented people, and I´ve learned so much while I´ve been here.

The set, on stage, still not finished, but we did pretty well in just one week, didn´t we?!
On a more personal note, I wanted to add a picture of one of my favorite kids. I am once again an aunt, this time to a little girl. I am really looking forward to moving home, so I can get to know her!
