Our goal was to engage the general public in a debate around the ocean plastic  pollution issue. And the public has greeted this art-project with engagement and support, and we are so thankful!
After 11 days of hard work, the wrasse is finally ready to be revealed to the public (drum-roll)…
Brita Marie Servan from the local sustainable network “Sustainable Life” held the opening speech. Below Elizabeth was working right up until the opening started 🙂
With only a days notice (ups, bad planning on my behalf) around 40 people showed up at the opening, and they seemed pretty happy with the outcome 🙂
Yay! The ocean-plastic wrasse is here! Part of the team behind the project: Bjørn Inge, Trine, Elizabeth, Janne, Martha, Anita and Aase.
Next step: find a name for him! We´ll have a public naming-contest in a few weeks, to see who can come up with the best name for him.

I vote for Bernie 🙂 Nice work Janne. That your voice in the video?
Janne, that fish is totally briliant! Amazing work you do with team!
