A weekend off in Porto, what to do… well, how about a visit to Douro Valley, where all the Port-wine is from?! I was invited by friends I met in Principe, and spent the weekend on a wineyard, with the Sunday on a little boat-trip up the valley. This is winter, can you imagine how lush it must be in the summer? Centuries old balcony-farming of grape-wvines. Sooo beautiful!
