I found one of these at a second hand shop some years ago. In brown fur (don\u00b4t know which kind), with silk-lining that\u00b4s so old it\u00b4s ripping, as you can see in the first picture.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-9593\" href=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/?attachment_id=9593\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9593\" title=\"_MG_1415\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/MG_1415.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"175\" =\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/MG_1415.jpg 450w, http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/MG_1415-150x58.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So my Friday finishing-project was to make a new lining for this old beauty.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-9594\" href=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/?attachment_id=9594\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9594\" title=\"_MG_1418\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/MG_1418.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"241\" =\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/MG_1418.jpg 450w, http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/MG_1418-150x80.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I\u00b4ve used the leftovers of my petrol-colored silk-satin from China. I made duvet-covers of this silk, but there was a little left-over from the pillow-cases. I haven\u00b4t really seen any muffs in costume-history pictures after turn of the last century. Anybody know anything else?
