With beautiful voices they tell the epic story, music newly composed by Reid Gilje.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12109\" title=\"_MG_8948\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/MG_8948.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"276\"><\/p>\n<p>All dressed in shades of purple, the hues of the magic hour of sun-set, and led by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/jorunn-shieldmaiden\/\">Jorunn Shield-maiden.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12105\" title=\"_MG_8739\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/MG_8739.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\"><\/p>\n<p>To add to the mysterious feel, I\u00b4ve added details in gold.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"_MG_8825\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/MG_8825.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"526\"><\/p>\n<p>Jorunn at one point, throws down part of her dress towards earth, to symbolize the contact between Valhall and Mid-earth.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12108\" title=\"_MG_8823\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/MG_8823.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"240\"><\/p>\n<p>My two favorite costumes are for Odin\u00b4s two ravens: Hugin and Munin. Dancers Marthe Kristiansen and Karoline Heggedal do a wonderful job as Odin\u00b4s eyes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12112\" title=\"_MG_9020\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/MG_9020.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\"><\/p>\n<p>Valhall is elevalted above the orchestra, and it really seems to be floating mid-air.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12113\" title=\"_MG_9011\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/MG_9011.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"230\"><\/p>\n<p>What is Valhall without Odin himself? Played and sung by Henning Sudmann.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12120\" title=\"_MG_8877\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/MG_8877.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"525\"><\/p>\n<p>Cape in cotton velvet with fake fur lining, linen trousers, silk velvet top and a golden brocade-belt.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12122\" title=\"_MG_8872\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/MG_8872.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"486\"><\/p>\n<p>I made several capes for the production. Like this big red linen one for the ladies leading <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bl\u00f3t\">the <\/a><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bl\u00f3t\">bl\u00f3t<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12123\" title=\"_MG_8930\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/MG_8930.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"525\"><\/p>\n<p>Another cape made from leather for the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Skald\">skald<\/a>, <\/strong>played by Preben Hodneland.
