I am trying to complete a costume. Honestly, I am making it up as I go along. I should of course made a proper design, drawn up patterns and first then started to sew. But why be obvious?!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-20657\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/MG_0450-450x300.jpg\" alt=\"_MG_0450\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" =\"https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/MG_0450.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/MG_0450-150x100.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/p>\n<p>So now I am making a fur-vest. I wanted a coat, really, that I could wear afterwards. But then I found an old rabbit-fur-vest in my attic, and thought I\u00b4d put it to use. I am using the fur as lining, and vintage kimono-silk from Japan for the outer fabric. I need to be careful that the pieces fit, so the fabric won\u00b4t pull. It\u00b4s a time-consuming process, but it looks pretty good so far.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-20658\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/MG_0451-450x248.jpg\" alt=\"_MG_0451\" width=\"450\" height=\"248\" =\"https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/MG_0451.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/MG_0451-150x83.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/p>\n<p>Picking apart a rabbit-furcoat brings with it dust-bunnies.&amp;nbsp;It has given the word new meaning for me.
