Using DAS-clay, a kind of mix between paper-mach\u00e9 and plaster over a base of tin-foil.<\/p>\n<p>The first picture is just a lump, really. Not even much of a skull-shape, which would have been a good idea\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-8804\" href=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/?attachment_id=8804\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8804\" title=\"IMG_4962\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_49621.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"375\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I\u00b4ve just started working on the eyes here, adding first a half-ball for each eye, then the lids. Since I want this to be a puppet with strong, exaggerated features, I am over-doing the lower eye-lid.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-8796\" href=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/?attachment_id=8796\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8796\" title=\"IMG_4963\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_4963.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"410\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Started working on the cheek-bones and chin. Feels like somethings missing, doesn\u00b4t it\u2026 <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/spindelmaker.bluesystems.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/icon_wink.gif\" alt=\";-)\" class=\"wp-smiley\"> <\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-8797\" href=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/?attachment_id=8797\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8797\" title=\"IMG_4966\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/IMG_4966.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"562\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ah, yes, that\u00b4s better. Add a nose, eyebrows and a mouth, and it just does the trick. The lips are looking quite feminine, so maybe this is a lady. We\u00b4ll have to see when what\u00b4s-his\/her-name dries. Maybe we should just call him\/her Kim. That\u00b4s a name for either sex, right?
