Transferring a photo to fabric.<\/p>\n<p>1. Take a photo-copy of your photo. Remember to flip it horizontally.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11508\" title=\"MG_5045\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/MG_50451.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"271\"><\/p>\n<p>2. Put lots of glue directly on the paper. I use a glue specially made for this, called \u201cLakk-lim\u201d which means varnish-glue translated. Different types can be used. Wood-glue works fine. Gel medium is fine.<\/p>\n<p>Use a brush to even it out. The glue needs to cover the motif, not too thin and not to thick. (You might need to do a couple of tests here to make sure you get the right amount.)<\/p>\n<p>3. Put the picture glue-face down on the fabric. Rub it down. Make sure you have enough glue to really make it stick.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u00b4t get any glue on the back of the paper!<\/p>\n<p>4. LET IT DRY COMPLETELY!!!!!!<\/p>\n<p>Yep. Don\u00b4t cheat. Wait until tomorrow instead.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11359\" title=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"233\"><\/p>\n<p>5. Pour some water onto the paper and let it soak for a minute. Start rubbing on the paper with your fingers, until the paper starts to come off.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11360\" title=\"2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"258\"><\/p>\n<p>6. Keep rubbing\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11361\" title=\"3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"244\"><\/p>\n<p>7. Once the paper seems to all have come off, let dry. If there is more paper after all, wet again, and rub some more. Continue process until all the paper is gone.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11362\" title=\"4\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"246\"><\/p>\n<p>8. Image is transferred! Cool, huh?!
