There\u00b4s quite a bit of chemistry and math involved in textiles, more than you might think. Very interesting. When it\u00b4s all new, learning the recipes, the names of the ingredients, it\u00b4s slightly confusing. But once I\u00b4ve actually DONE it, it sticks in a completely different way, than just by hearing it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16260\" title=\"_MG_3956\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/MG_3956.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" =\"https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/MG_3956.gif 450w, https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/MG_3956-150x100.gif 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/p>\n<p>I mixed a batch of turquoise dye, and after everyone had left I made another one, in brown. Tomorrow I\u00b4ll learn how to fixate the colors with steam.
