Maybe in Michelle\u00b4s wonderfully inspiring studio. <\/p>\n
Everywhere you look, there is inspiration! <\/p>\n It is filled with creations, big and small, mainly Michelle\u00b4s work, and old vintage treasures. <\/p>\n Talking of which\u2026<\/p>\n On the way back from Artfest, we stopped at an antique-store to see if we could find some treasures to play with this week. Did we ever! I got a couple of funky things at Artfest\u00b4s vendor-night too, so we\u00b4ll see if we can have a little fun \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Can you see this! It\u00b4s an antique organ stool!<\/p>\n Do you see the details?!!<\/p>\n I mean, seriously! Have you ever seen a cooler stool?! Standing on glass-marbles, clutched by a dragon-bird or something. I\u00b4m back to the dilemma with the hairdryer. It is so beautiful in itself, I don\u00b4t want to risk ruining it. I will have to spend a day or two working up the courage.<\/p>\n This morning we started the day with visiting Karla Dornacker, Michelle\u00b4s mom. She\u00b4s an artist too, and illustrated 16 books. Here is her website. <\/a>I like visiting other artists\u00b4studios. It\u00b4s inspiring to see creative environments.<\/p>\n Here is a close-up of her Arting-bag.<\/p>\n <\/a> Deidra came over to join us in our arting today and she brought a project with her. Here are the first steps. Dying cotton muslin with walnut crystals.<\/p>\n It\u00b4s all ready dyed, but needs drying. On to the next project. We\u00b4ll get back to this one. This is truly going to be the week of a thousand projects!<\/p>\n Here is Deirdra<\/a> painting on her finished dyed muslin-page.<\/p>\n Lulu<\/a> joined us too. She brought her dolls to paint.<\/p>\n Here are some of my treasures, I\u00b4m trying to piece it all together into a new mask. An old slide-viewer, a button, a wooden ornament.
