My second colorful journal-calender book is already full, and it is time to start a new one.<\/p>\n

For the first book I used acrylics, this time I\u00b4m varying with fabric paint, as that is more transparent, and doesn\u00b4t add so much thickness to the pages. Acrylics or fabric-paint, I smudge them on with a sponge.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u00b4t look like much yet\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026but the numbers help!<\/p>\n

Still looks boring? Just wait a bit\u2026<\/p>\n

For the front cover I glued down pieces of dried acrylic paint I had scraped from the plate I use to mix them on. Soak it in water for half an hour, and the paint lets go. I\u00b4ve been wanting to use these pieces in a mosaic for a while, and thought this might be a good opportunity \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

As always there is also a spiral on the cover. In my world, it is the number one symbol of creativity.<\/p>\n

Now is when the fun really begins\u2026<\/p>\n

Every day I add a little something. News-events, birthdays, appointments, inspirations, reminders, lists of what I\u00b4ve done with my day, random thoughts\u2026<\/p>\n
