The<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vam.ac.uk\/\"> V&amp;A <\/a>has a wonderful theatre-design exhibition hidden way back on the third floor.&amp;nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1942.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6800\" title=\"IMG_1942\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1942.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"525\" =\"https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1942.jpg 350w, https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1942-100x150.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There were a couple of costumes there from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=S0gw4PluZd8\">The Lion King. <\/a>I really appreciate the chance to see extravagant costumes up-close, because there are so many details you don\u00b4t see when you sit in the back of the theatre.<br \/>\nThe picture above is the Lion king\u00b4s costume, with lots of leather-details.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1943.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6801\" title=\"IMG_1943\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1943.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"276\" =\"https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1943.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1943-150x92.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lots of head-wear in another part of the exhibition. I just think the Sidney-opera-house-hat is hysterically funny! It was made for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dame-edna.com\/\">Dame Edna.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1950.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6802\" title=\"IMG_1950\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1950.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"241\" =\"https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1950.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/IMG_1950-150x80.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the evening, we saw a fringe-theatre show that Freya had the set- and costume-design for. The Knickerbocker Glories is a&amp;nbsp;trilogy&amp;nbsp;of suffragette-comedies. It was amazing to see what she had magically whipped up on an almost non-existent&amp;nbsp;budget. A complete set and 19 costumes for a couple of hundred \u00a3s. She really did a great job.<\/p>\n<p>Such a contrast to yesterdays show, where money obviously wasn\u00b4t a subject. I like the opportunity to see different shows at different venues.
