It took some time for me to finish the sample below, and I didn\u00b4t want to show it before it was all done. But here it is <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/spindelmaker.bluesystems.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/simple-smile-47.png\" alt=\":-)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>One of the things beginners at painting find a challenge is how to mix colors. I tried to help with different painting techniques, and a bit of practical color-theory: how to mix skin-color. And in the process of show-and-tell I needed something to \u201cshow\u201d on. And that is the background for this little painting of Axel, the guy downstairs&amp;nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/spindelmaker.bluesystems.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/icon_smile-1.gif\" alt=\":-)\"><\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-9835\" href=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/art-and-reply\/_mg_1589\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9835\" title=\"_MG_1589\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/MG_1589.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"353\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Making an outline of the form and giving it a base coat.
