I got a free hard-board blank book the first night, and thought I\u00b4d use it as a place to gather my memories from Art & Soul.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

First day there was a 5 minute&nbsp;make&take<\/strong> in encaustic, where anyone passing by was allowed to try one of Patricia Seggebruch<\/a>\u00b4s many encaustic-techniques.<\/p>\n

Jen Crossly<\/a>\u00b4s class was SO much fun! I love my little doll booklet pendant necklace!<\/p>\n

In Judy Wise<\/a>\u00b4s class I worked with paper-clay, which was a new material for me. I\u00b4ve made dolls before, but really liked this material to work with. You can see lots more photos from her class here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another class I too was Fire torched enam<\/a>el. I like melting stuff. What can I say? \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

The silk dream evening class was also very fun. Working in a completely new way with pure silk fibers.<\/p>\n

Meeting new friends is one of the best things with these art-retreats, and I collected some Moo-cards from some of them. And of course I had to have a little something from my own class, since I was so fortunate as to teach! So I added one of my tropical birds. The journal itself isn\u00b4t really as fun as I\u00b4d like it to be, I didn\u00b4t add as much text and details as I would have liked to. And the class the last day with the Precious Metal Clay<\/a> was AWESOME and I didn\u00b4t make anything on that yet either. Had to pack and leave. Still, it\u00b4s nice to have a book where it\u00b4s all in one place \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
