B\u00f8mlo artgroup just won a prize as the Artgroup of the year! The prize came from the National association of art groups, and the prize itself is 30 000,- NOK ($5000). The group is quite small, with 70 members, but in all fairness I think I can say that only a small dozen of us are active. It is a group of people who are interested in art, not necesarily making art themselves, only a few of us do. Last year was our 30th anniversary, and we did put in an extra effort. Twice as many exhibitions, a workshop, several talks, and not to forget our art-in-nature-projects, some of which even got national press-coverage. It\u00b4s such a great gang to be with, creative and full of knowledge. And we are all SO happy and enthusiastic about winning this prize! We\u00b4ve already started discussing what our next project should be.<\/p>\n
