And as part of the planning process, they invited me along to meet the furniture supplier, Ekornes. We spent the day going over the entire interior design of the ship, everything from buttons in the elevator to the flooring to the artwork.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17715\" alt=\"_MG_2298\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/MG_2298.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" =\"https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/MG_2298.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/MG_2298-150x100.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/p>\n<p>Colors, styles, moods\u2026 a wishing-well to choose from. A team of designers and architects had made a proposal, and we commented, changed and applauded. The design is so cool, so modern, so sleek, it\u00b4s going to be the most elegant interior!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17714\" alt=\"_MG_2288\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/MG_2288.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"319\" =\"https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/MG_2288.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/MG_2288-150x106.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/p>\n<p>We ended the session with a walk through the 5 story showroom, an old, converted sea-house in \u00c5lesund, trying different types of chairs and sofas, picking material based on \u201ccleanablility\u201d, fire-safety, in addition to style and color. So many things to think about when choosing. What an interesting day!
