Like for all my other nieces and nephews, I am making her a \u201cWelcome-to-life!\u201d-book. Everyone in the immediate family contributes in filling it with wishes and thoughts.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17929\" alt=\"_MG_3589\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/MG_3589.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"613\"><\/p>\n<p>The cover is a freestyle machine-embroidered appliqu\u00e9d girly-girl sewn onto leather. Hopefully it will be both strong and sturdy and can take years of reading. The face is partly sewn, partly painted on with textile markers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17930\" alt=\"_MG_3590\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/MG_3590.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"198\"><\/p>\n<p>So now that I\u00b4ve made the book itself, it\u00b4s just all the writing left :-).
