Mind you, these are only a couple I\u00b4ve seen in the past weeks, there are tons more of interesting places and spaces.&amp;amp;nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18462\" alt=\"_MG_8853\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/MG_8853.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"246\" =\"https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/MG_8853.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/MG_8853-150x82.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/p>\n<p>Halsn\u00f8y Convent is from way back in the 11th century, I think. None of the buildings have survived completely, but there are cellars. And the yard around it, the centuries old oaks, the view is magnificent. I\u00b4ll go back there on a private tour in a couple of weeks, so I\u00b4ll probably make a new post from the premises.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18461\" alt=\"_MG_8952\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/MG_8952.jpg\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\" =\"https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/MG_8952.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/MG_8952-150x100.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\"><\/p>\n<p>These old wooden houses are called \u201cstabbur\u201d, and were placed on poles made of stone, to prevent mice to come in. It would have been done differently than the picture above. They used to store food in these little houses.
