A big exhibition with textile works, both wallhangings and sculptures. It was so inspiring walking among these great pieces of art, and so calming. They are soft on the soul, but still leave food for thought. I just wanted to share a couple of photos, and recommend it, if you are nearby.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-19773\" src=\"https:\/\/spindelmaker.bluesystems.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2015-08-31-14.49.44-450x300-1.gif\" alt=\"2015-08-31-14.49.44\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\"><\/p>\n<p>This sculpture, made by Marit Helen Akslen is called \u201cHidden Agenda\u201d. It\u00b4s made of used shirt collars in cotton.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-19774\" src=\"https:\/\/spindelmaker.bluesystems.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2015-08-31-15.04.08-450x300-1.gif\" alt=\"2015-08-31-15.04.08\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\"><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSwirl\u201d is a&amp;amp;nbsp;wall object composed of wool made by May Bente Aronsen.<\/p>\n<p>Karoline and I had a fun little photo-shoot. Her hair is almost silver-white now, and even thought the photos here may look like they\u00b4re Photoshopped, they\u00b4re untouched. The colors are exactly as I saw them. Pretty cool, huh?!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-19776\" src=\"https:\/\/spindelmaker.bluesystems.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2015-08-30-19.10.31-1-450x300-1.gif\" alt=\"2015-08-30-19.10.31-1\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\"><\/p>\n<p>I think she is stunningly beautiful anyway, but it seems the white hair captures her nordic heritage and make her look like she\u00b4s cut out of a fairytale.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-19777\" src=\"http:\/\/www.spindelmaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/2015-08-30-19.16.41-450x300.gif\" alt=\"2015-08-30-19.16.41\" width=\"450\" height=\"300\"><\/p>\n<p>But the softest moment of all, was meeting my little granddaughter Amanda. Only 5 days old, and so tired <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/spindelmaker.bluesystems.no\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/simple-smile.png\" alt=\":-)\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\"\/> It is simply unfathomable how fascinating newborns are. And how entranced one can be simply by looking at them. The facial expression changes constantly!
