This fall one of my dreams came through, when I was asked to illustrate a book! To be precise it is a sheet-music book with soft covers, but it is published and it is a big deal to me! \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n
My dear friend Joakim Vikanes has arranged all the music in and edited the book. Kenneth Sivertsen is the composer, and both of the men are my fellow citizens of B\u00f8mlo. Kenneth died about ten years ago now, and he was a brilliant musician and composer, making symphonies and intricate jazz. And then these almost folk-song-ish tunes, which Joakim has arranged for song and guitar and piano.<\/p>\n

Inside the book, there are five illustrations, or pictures I have made over the years. These celebrate the wild, salty nature and the warm friendships out here in the islands.<\/p>\n
